Guthrie Main Street is inviting everyone to come down to Longhurst park this Saturday to kick off their music in the park series, starting with the Logan Moore Band.Â
Cody Kirby is both the drummer for the Logan Moore Band and one of the organizers for the event, and he appeared on WHOP Radio Friday to share all the details.
He says Music in the Park will take place the last Saturday of each month all the way through October, and Saturday is the first one of the season, with everyone encouraged to bring a chair and the family to enjoy free music starting at 7 p.m. to get the summer started off right.
It all takes place a Longhurst Park on Ewing Street in Guthrie, and Kirby says it’s a great place to listen to good music and fellowship with other music lovers.
While the Logan Moore Band will start the season, there are plenty of great artists and groups on the lineup for the upcoming concerts as well.
All the concerts are completely free to attend, and there will be food trucks on hand for anyone looking to grab a bite to eat, so make sure you bring a little spending money.
