Graves County scored the first 16 points of the game and rolled past host Hopkinsville 74-41 Tuesday night in a girls’ basketball game.
The Lady Eagles (12-2), who have won 10 games in a row, led 26-3 after one quarter and 40-13 at halftime. Seven players scored in the first half for Graves County. Kailee Winfrey led the Lady Eagles with 12 points. Ella Kemp and Hannah Glisson each had 10.
Hoptown’s LeeLee Love came alive in the second half as she scored 13 of her 15 points. Kaveyah White and LaShanti Wilson each scored nine points for Hopkinsville, which slipped to 4-6. The Lady Tigers are back in action Thursday night against Christian County. The game is scheduled to tip off at 5:30 p.m. and the F & M Bank Pregame show is set to air at 5:15 p.m. on Newsradio 99.3 FM and 1230 AM WHOP.
