A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for robbery, wanton endangerment and drug trafficking related crimes on Friday.
Geovantae Poindexter, age 27 of Hopkinsville, was indicted for first-degree robbery and second-degree assault after he reportedly used physical force during a theft and was armed with a deadly weapon on August 22.
Demarcus Fletcher, age 33 of Hopkinsville, was indicted for first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief and retaliating against a participant in a legal process following an incident on August 14.
Donald Brown, age 23 of Oak Grove, was indicted for first-degree wanton endangerment, theft of a firearm and tampering with physical evidence following an incident on September 8.
Brandon Burney, age 38 of Clarksville, was indicted on multiple charges after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit on September 6. Burney is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, first-degree criminal mischief, possession of drug paraphernalia and other lesser charges,
Adam West, age 28 of Clarksville, and Lacy Evans, age 31 of Palmyra were indicted on multiple charges after they were reportedly found to be in possession of drugs following a pursuit on September 1. West is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, operating a vehicle under the influence, possession of burglary tools and other lesser charges.
Evans was indicted for two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication of a controlled substance.
West was also indicted on additional charges after he was reportedly caught possessing drugs on August 18. He is charged with two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle with a revoked license.
