The Christian County Sheriff’s Department will soon have a new K9 Unit, thanks to a generous donation from a citizen.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, officials are extending their heartfelt gratitude to the late Bob Hardwick for his donation to the cause—that donation will allow for the department to add another K9 to their Patrol Division, enhancing the ability to serve and protect the people of Christian County.
Officials say their K9 partners play a vital role in the force, from helping with searches, narcotics detection, tracking and community outreach, and Hardwick’s generosity will help make sure deputies and K9’s alike have the resources they need.
