The Christian County Lady Colonels dropped their second game in the last three outings, falling 51-37 to visiting Franklin-Simpson in a girls’ high school basketball game on Monday night.
Anaysia Bagwell scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds and Genesis McGee added nine points for Christian County, which slipped to 8-9 on the season.
The Lady Wildcats led 14-10 after one quarter and pushed their advantage to 33-19 at halftime.
After the break Franklin-Simpon, which won for the fifth time in six games, took a 46-25 lead into the fourth quarter.
The Lady Colonels are back in action Wednesday at home against Fort Campbell in a District 8 game that is part of a girls’/boys’ doubleheader. The girls tipoff at 6 p.m. and airtime is set for 5:45 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
