Fort Campbell is set to cut the ribbon to mark completion of the first Erevia Park homes, paving the way for a new neighborhood for junior enlisted families.
The ribbon cutting is set for Monday at 2 p.m. on Lane Street in Fort Campbell, and attendees will get to here from new residents and leadership from the 101st Airborne Division Air Assault, and after the ceremony, be able to tour a model home.
Erevia Park will feature 200 three-bedroom homes designed for junior enlisted families. These homes will offer open floor plans, modern finishes, and increased storage. All homes will be designed and built to Energy Star certification and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Silver standards.
The neighborhood will include features such as walking paths, a bike network, playgrounds, gathering spaces, community gardens, sports courts and more.
The neighborhood is named after the late Sgt. Santiago Erevia, a Medal of Honor recipient who fought in the Vietnam War as part of the 101st Airborne Division.
