The Fort Campbell Directorate of Human Resources will be hosting a Retiree Appreciation Day event this Saturday and all military retirees are invited to attend.
According to a news release, things kick off at 10 a.m. and will run until 2 p.m. at the Soldier Support Center on post at 2702 Michigan Avenue. The event is to help keep retired service members and their families informed about the changes to their benefits and privileges.
There will be dozens of agencies and vendors on hand that can provide information and services—the ID card section will be open, along with legal services providing powers of attorney and will services. There will also be a health fair happening on-site where attendees can receive routine vaccinations, along with other services and health screenings.
All military retirees are encouraged to participate, including those who were medically retired or who served in other military branches.
