Former Hopkinsville High School basketball player Jamarion Sharp continues to earn NBA G-League Postseason honors.
A week after being named the league’s Defensive Player of the Year, Sharp was named to the league’s All-Defensive First Team.
Sharp, a 7-foot-5 center, averaged 7.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, and a league-leading 3.8 blocks per game in the 2025-26 season.
The former Tiger is the fourth player in Texas Legends franchise history to earn All-Defensive Team honors.
Sharp graduated from Hopkinsville High School and signed with John A. Logan Junior College and later signed with Western Kentucky University. He was named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year in 2022 and 2023 with the Hilltoppers. He transferred to Ole Miss to complete his college career in 2024.
He was selected by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2024 NBA Draft.
