Hopkinsville played host to District 8 foe Fort Campbell on Thursday night in a high school volleyball match.
The Lady Falcons picked up their first win of the year with a straight set 25-20, 25-17. 25-23 win over Hoptown.
The loss drops the Lady Tigers to 0-3 in district play and 1-4 overall. Fort Campbell is 1-2 overall and 1-2 in district standings.
Hoptown was led by Madysen Taggart with five kills, four blocks, two digs and one ace. Kyleigh Weber had four digs and two aces.
Fort Campbell jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first set and set the tone for the match.
The Lady Falcons also took an early six-point advantage in the second set before holding off the Lady Tigers in a much closer third set.
