Meanwhile, Heritage Christian Academy and Fort Campbell will meet on the softball diamond today for a District 8 game that has tournament seeding implications.
HCA is 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the district. Fort Campbell enters today’s game 4-6 overall and 0-2 in the district.
Christian County already has secured the top spot in the district standings but the remainder of the standings is topsy-turvy.
A win by Fort Campbell today would force a three-way tie in the district standings with HCA and University Heights Academy at 1-2.
However, if HCA wins this afternoon, the Lady Warriors would secure the No. 2 spot in the tournament seedings at 2-1, UHA would be third and Fort Campbell would slip to No. 4 because the Lady Blazers defeated the Lady Falcons on Tuesday.
Tonight’s game is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.
