Dinner Church finds new home at the Salvation Army

Known as Breaking Bread Dinner Church is moving to a new home—starting Thursday, Dinner Church can be found in the Salvation Army Life Navigation Dining Hall in Hopkinsville.

This move comes as Donna Williams, the founder of Dinner Church, has handed over the reigns of the community service program to Bridge of Hope Fellowship, after serving the community over the last six years. Dinner Church has historically been a weekly feeding program that serves roughly 500 meals, and served over 50,000 meals in 2024 alone.

With Bridge of Hope picking up the service, Dinner Church will have a new home with the Salvation Army, starting January 8 at 4:30 p.m. and continuing every Thursday after that.

If you’re hungry, searching for connection and just looking for a place to sit down and belong for a little while, there’s a seat waiting for you at 313 East Seventh Street in Hopkinsville.  If you’re looking to volunteer, set-up begins at 3:30 p.m. and serving starts at 4:30.
