The Christian County Sheriff’s Department has released details on a wreck at the intersection of Dawson Springs Road and the Eagle Way Bypass that sent a Herndon man to a Nashville hospital.
According to the collision report, it happened in the intersection at just before 7 a.m. Tuesday morning when a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Joshua Long of Herndon and a box truck driven by 53-year-old Terry Robinson collided.
Long sustained an apparent head wound and told deputies he couldn’t remember exactly what happened, and he was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment.
Robinson and a passenger went to a local hospital by private vehicle.
Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
