Congressman James Comer received the Waterways Council Inc.’s (WCI) 21st Annual Leadership Service Award.
A news release from Congressman Comer’s office says he received the award for his continual support in equipping Kentucky waterways with safe and efficient ways to transport commodities.
Kentucky’s waterways and ports are valued at over $5 million and contribute to transporting Americans’ needs. Comer’s office says he will continue to advocate for the inland waterways system in the nation’s capital.
