The Christian County High School wrestling team took third place in the Region 1 Meet over the weekend at Henderson County High School.
The Colonels were led by Treshawn Crenshaw, who finished runner-up in the heavyweight division and qualified for this weekend’s state meet in Lexington.
Crenshaw won his first two matches (21-8 over Henderson’s Kayden Lambert and 6-2 over Paducah Tilghman’s Elias McPike) before falling to Union County’s Austin Cummings in the final, 3-0.
