Clarksville Police Chief announces retirement

Clarksville Police Chief, David Crockarell announced his retirement following 30 years of service with the law enforcement agency.

Crockarell has served in multiple roles with the police department and since 2020 he has served as police chief. 

In news release from the City of Clarksville, Crockarell says it has been an honor to serve his community and thanked Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts, the City Council and members of the police department for placing their trust in him.

Pitts says the city owes a huge debt of gratitude to Crockarell, for his selfless service, and to his wife, Lori, for her support of his outstanding service to the community.

Crockarell will retire effective February 28, 2025.
