The Hopkinsville Sportsplex was taken over by craft, merchandise and food vendors as well as eager shoppers for the fourth annual Christmas in July vendor fair on Saturday.
This year’s Christmas in July featured around 80 local and regional vendors selling handmade jewelry, woodwork creations, crochet crafts and much more. Sportsplex Facility Coordinator, Tony Henson shared that this year’s Christmas in July has been their biggest yet, with them even having a vendor from Alabama participating.
Rachel Sanders, from Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation, shared that the event also encourages attendees to shop at local and small businesses.
In comparison to last year’s Christmas in July, Henson says they have more vendors creating handmade crafts and attendees have started shopping earlier in the morning.
The sportsplex’s next vendor fair is the Holiday Hoopla which is set for October.
