On Tuesday afternoon, Derrell Bateman was joined by friends and family as he signed to play basketball at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas.
Derrell is coming off of an outstanding senior year with Christian Co. averaging 23.2 points and 12.5 rebounds per game.
Bateman was also selected to play in the 2024 Kentucky vs. Indiana All Star Game.
In an interview with WHOP, Derrell talked about his journey his with basketball, his excitement for college, and people he is thankful for in helping him get to this point in his basketball career.
