Christian Co. Chamber of Commerce receives 5-Star Accreditation

The Christian County Chamber of Commerce is celebrating, after they have received a prestigious 5-Star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

The U.S. Chamber’s Accreditation Program sets the standards of excellence in the Chamber industry, and the 5-Star Accreditation recognizes a Chamber for its sound policies, effective organizational procedures and a significant positive impact on the community it serves. According to a news release, to achieve Accreditation, chambers must meet high standards in areas such as governance, government affairs, communications, and technology. This comprehensive self-review process typically takes six to nine months to complete and reflects a chamber’s dedication to continuous improvement and measurable progress.

Christian County’s Chamber is one of only four Chambers in the state that achieved a 5-star rating.

President and CEO Taylor Hayes says, “We are deeply honored to once again earn the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s prestigious Accredited with 5 Stars designation. To receive this recognition is a tremendous affirmation of our board, staff, volunteers and members’ unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and service to our business community. This achievement reflects the hard work and collaboration that drive our mission every day—to create an environment where businesses can thrive and our community can prosper.”
