Christian County Public Schools are back in action after Winter Storm Fern put kids out of school for two weeks, and Superintendent Chris Bentzel says they’re going to hit the ground running.
Even though classes were not in session, Bentzel says they still did what they could to support their students, whether that be through virtual NTI help, meeting with staff, or supplying meal bundles to help fight off hunger.
He says he knows their staff and educators are excited to be back to work so they can get kids back up to speed with their learning goals.
It’s going to be busy the next few months as we approach the later half of another school year, with Bentzel saying they’ll site visits, career expos, kindergarten registration, a transition to spring sports and much more.
