The Christian County Public School System recognized teachers and community partners for the vital role they play in educating the youth at Wednesdayās 2025 Employee Recognition Celebration.
During the event, Cody Noffsinger with Pre-K2Biz welcomed the crowd by saying that the success in the community starts in the classroom and he couldnāt be more thankful for the group of educators that make it all possible.
Among the first awards presented at the celebration were Classified Staff of the Year and Certified Staff of the Year. Superintendent Chris Bentzel presented the awards and said he is proud to recognize these teachers because they work around the clock to meet the needs of all students.
Jesse Ezell from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Learning Center was recognized as Classified Staff of the Year, and Brant Weiss from Hopkinsville High School was recognized as Certified Staff of the Year
CCPS also presented five Vision Awards, each award recognizing schools, individuals and school organizations that have contributed to bettering CCPS.
Crofton Elementary School received the Inspire Award; Sarah McGinnis from Millbrooke Elementary and Tamarsha Beckem from Christian County High School received the Engage Award; the Christian County High School Agriculture Department received the Succeed Award; Becky Ginn received the Heart of CCPS Award and Wayne Hunt from H&R Agri-Power received the 2025 #AllIn Community Partner of the Year Award.
Bentzel congratulated the winners and said their dedication and commitment to CCPS make all the difference.
As the 2024-2025 school year is coming to an end, CCPS took time to recognize rising stars in the district.
