The Christian County Public School System announced that Stephanie Blanton has been selected to be the next principal of Christian County Middle School.
Blanton is no stranger to CCMS and currently serves as the school’s assistant principal. Her appointment comes after Kristen Lindsey, the current CCMS principal, was selected to be the student services administrator of the consolidated Christian County High School.
Blanton is a Christian County High School graduate, and began her education career with CCPS in 2008.
Superintendent Chris Bentzel says Blanton’s leadership, experience and commitment to students makes her an excellent choice to lead CCMS. He also says she understands the needs of the school community and looks forward to seeing her vision.
Blanton says she is honored and excited to lead CCMS and looks forward to building upon the strong foundation and positive momentum established under Lindsey’s leadership.
