Over the weekend, Christian County High School Tigers’ Head Football Coach Dustin Lopez announced that the 2026 inaugural season schedule had been finalized.
Lopez announced a home scrimmage Aug. 7 with Clarksville Northeast. The Tigers will travel to Louisville on Aug. 14 to take on DuPont Manual.
Meet the Tigers will be held Aug. 7 before the opening scrimmage.
The Christian County Tigers’ season opener is scheduled for Aug. 21 in the second game of their bowl against Cooper. The Jaguars are a 5-A school that finished 8-4 last season.
The rest of the schedule includes home games against Fredrick Douglass (8-5) on Sept. 25, Henderson County (6-7) on Oct. 9, McCracken County (6-6) on Oct. 16, and Paducah Tilghman (12-2) on Oct. 30.
Road games include matchups with Mayfield (10-2) on Aug. 28, McKenzie, Tenn. (13-2) on Sept. 4, Daviess County (5-6) on Sept. 11, South Warren (13-1) on Sept. 18, and Harlan County (7-4) on Oct. 2.
