Christian County High School cross country runners took part in the Muhlenberg County Mustang Stampede Saturday in Greenville.
Christian County’s Cayden Cline ran 41st in the boys’ varsity race.
Meanwhile, Christian County’s Aubree Cline finished 52nd and Mia Castillo was 66th in the girls’ varsity race.
In the Girls Middle race, which had 137 runners in it, Christian County placed 11th in the team scores.
Gracelyn Clark led the Colonels in 38th place, followed by Mariah Gbemudu (45th), Britany Martinez (79), Lilly Collins (80), and Lexi Cavinder (82).
In the boys’ middle school race with 178 runners, Lucas Coates placed third with teammate Bryce Hamlin in fourth. Cash Taggart came in 61st place and 109th went to John Pitts.
In the boys’ elementary race, Malachi Acree was 43rd and Garrett Clark was 54th. Elliot Davidson took 68th.
In the girls’ elementary division, Eliza McLaughlin took 26th out of 126 runners. Others running included Kaylyn Jorgensen (38), Kinslee Jackson (65), Mariah Gbemudu (66) and Asiabell Coleman (84). The Lady Colonels finished ninth in the team standings.
