The Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Christian County is inviting the community to dress up as their favorite superheroes to participate in their Superhero Run-Walk fundraiser.
CASA is a national association that serves to support children going through the court system who may have experienced abuse or neglect and do not have a permanent home.
The run is set to take over the Hopkinsville Greenway Rail Trail on April 20. Along with the run there will be food vendors, a bounce house and music. Awards will be given out for the best traditional superhero costume, the most creative invented superhero and for the best superhero family ensemble.
The funds raised from the run will go toward supporting CASA’s work in the community. Tickets to the run cost $10 for children and $25 for adults and are available at runsignup.com More information about CASA and their mission can be found at cckycasa.org. Â
