A Cadiz man was found deceased in flood waters in Trigg County Monday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree tells WHOP News that the Trigg County Sheriff’s Department was called to East Adams Mill Road Monday morning for reports that a male victim was found unresponsive in flood waters in a ditch off the roadway. That victim has been identified as David Lee Duncan of Cadiz.
First responders attempted to perform life-saving measures, but Duncan was ultimately declared deceased at the scene by the Trigg County Coroner.
Sheriff Acree says there were signs in place on the road and while they are unsure how long Duncan was in the water, they don’t believe it was very long at this time and that his vehicle had been swept away by flood waters. The vehicle was located nearby.
