Clarksville held host Hopkinsville to only 15 points in the second half and went on to defeat the Lady Tigers 56-40 Thursday night in a girls’ basketball game.
The two teams had battled to a 25-25 tie at the half before the Lady Wildcats opened up a 42-37 lead entering the fourth quarter.
However, the Lady Tigers went cold and only scored three points in the fourth quarter as Clarksville pulled away for the win.
Seniors Alicia Davis and Lee Lee Love had 11 and 10 points, respectively, on Senior Night. The Lady Tigers also honored seniors LaShanti Wilson, Alexis Snorton, Kylie Radford, and Taria Sharber.
Hopkinsville slipped to 8-11 on the season and will return to action Saturday at Crittenden County.
