Benefit for the Bend set for Saturday

The biggest fundraiser of the year for Jeffer’s Bend Environmental Center is set to take place this Saturday, as Benefit for The Bend returns.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Christian County Extension Office on Pembroke Road with a full spread of food available for attendees for dinner, including fan-favorite pork chops, sides and plenty of dessert.  Speaking with WHOP recently, Organizers Charles Turner and Diane Croney-Turner says the whole event is put on my volunteers.

It is $30 per person to attend and they are still accepting donations of items for the silent auction.

Their fundraising goal is $32,000 and Croney-Turner says all money raised will directly benefit Jeffer’s Bend.

You can call Jeffers Bend at 270-885-5600 or 270-885-1425 to RSVP and get your tickets.
