For the third year in a row, Atmos Energy has been ranked number one in residential gas customer satisfaction in the Midwest.
According to news release, the 2024 Gas Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study is based on responses from 63,363 online interviews conducted from January through October 2024 among residential customers of the 86 largest gas utility brands across the United States. That represents more than 125,000 residential customers.
The study was conducted by J.D. Power, and shows that Atmos Energy’s overall customer satisfaction index ranking among midsize utilities in the Midwest this year is 776, which represents a 12-point increase over its 2023 score.
Vice President of Customer Service Mike Dickson says, “Our ability to maintain the number one ranking for three consecutive years is a testament to the work of all 5,200 Atmos Energy employees. Throughout the coming year, one of our goals will be to extend this streak of excellence and continue to be recognized for exceptional customer service.”
