All four area boys’ high school basketball teams return to action today following the Christmas break.
Heritage Christian Academy is seeking its second straight win as it takes on host Caldwell County in the West Kentucky Shootout in Princeton this afternoon.
Christian County is scheduled to play Simon Kenton at Lexington Christian. And Hopkinsville and University Heights Academy are both at Henderson County. The Tigers will play Owensboro Catholic and the Blazers will take on Warren Central.
In other area games, Todd County Central travels to play Whitley County, Hopkins County Central is at Stewart County, Tenn., and Madisonville takes on Perry County Central at Thomas Nelson.
In girls’ basketball today, Christian County will play Portland, Tenn., at the Lady of the South Invitational at Allen County-Scottsville.
Trigg County’s Lady Wildcats will play host Murray early and then return to the floor this afternoon to take on Union County at Murray.
Caldwell County plays host to South Panola, Miss., at the West Kentucky Shootout.
