As the sun set, kiddos crowded Tie Breaker Park for the chance to get candy and the grand prize of $98.70 at Friday’s Nighttime WHOP’er of an Egg Hunt.
This year’s hunt included around 20,000 eggs, and it didn’t take hunters long to collect them all. Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Programs Coordinator Pam Rudd says their team took a couple of hours to put all of the eggs out, but they were all grabbed in around five minutes.
Parks and Recreation Superintendent Toby Hudson says the hunt had a great turnout with around 3,000 kiddos attending.
To conclude the hunt, 8-year-old Zada Webb took home the grand prize of $98.70 and says she plans to save the money.
