The Christian County Lady Colonels scored eight runs in the top of the first inning and rolled to a 12-1, five-inning high school softball victory over Calloway County on Thursday afternoon.
Avery Adcock swung the big stick for the Lady Colonels. The Missouri signee went 4-for-4 with two doubles and a home run and drove in four runs.
Chloe Almy and Jazzy Tejada each had a pair of hits for Christian County, which improved to 5-2 on the season.
Alyssa Petterson picked up the pitching win, allowing only two hits and striking out seven batters.
The Lady Colonels will travel to Madisonville-North Hopkins tonight.
