A teenager who was injured in an accidental shooting on Grapevine Road Saturday has died of his injuries.
It happened in the 1400 block of Grapevine around 4:45 p.m. when a 17-year-old male victim sustained a severe gunshot wound when a firearm unintentionally went off while hunting. He was rushed to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, but Christian County Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer Sara Morris confirmed to WHOP News that the victim did succumb to his injuries Saturday night.
Additional information was not immediately available, but preliminary investigation has determined the incident was accidental.
