Two hurt in Princeton collision

The Princeton Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 62 West that sent two people to the hospital. 

According to a news release, the collision happened around 11:20 a.m. Monday morning in front of Walmart, and investigation revealed that 81-year-old Fletcher Fitzgerald of Princeton was attempted to make a left turn from Walmart on U.S. 62.

While doing so, Fitzgerald’s vehicle and a vehicle operated by 47-year-old Tabitha Winton of White Plains collided. Both drivers were taken to local hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt.
