Hopkinsville and Christian County will be bidding farewell to Lieutenants Lindsey and Roger Galabeas, as they’ve been assigned to The Salvation Army of Nashville South Campus.
Speaking with WHOP Wednesday morning, Lt. Lindsey Galabeas says it’s a bittersweet change, as they feel they’ve been a part of something really big here in Hopkinsville and have been able to help in so many people’s lives. She says they’re looking forward to the future while reflecting on the joy of the past.
She says they’ve made so many connections and friends during their time in Hopkinsville that they will always hold dear.
But before they bid farewell on June 16, Galabeas is inviting the community to a ribbon cutting on Monday for the unveiling of the Life Navigation Hub at 313 East Seventh on 10 a.m.
The Navigation Hub is a place where people can come for a life change to meet with dedicated case managers to help those experiencing homelessness and extreme poverty identify and meet their goals towards self-sustainability.
