One injured in two-vehicle Pembroke collision

A Clarksville man was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Pembroke Tuesday morning. 

According to the report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, it happened around 7 a.m. when a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Alexander Bond of Russellville attempted to make a left turn onto Highway 115 from West Nashville Street.

At the same moment, a vehicle operated by 45-year-old Corder Lakarltis of Clarksville was heading northbound on West Nashville and the two collided in the intersection.

The collision caused the vehicle to strike a utility pole and a trash can before coming to a stop.

Lakarltis was transported to Tennova Healthcare for treatment of multiple injuries. Bond was not injured.
