The City of Madisonville has announced the music line up for their annual 4th Fest and Praise in the Park set to take over Madisonville City Park this summer. Â
4th Fest and Praise in the Park is an outdoor festival that is free to attend and will feature concerts, food trucks and other family friendly activities that spans three days from Friday, June 28 to Sunday, June 30. For this year’s festival the City of Madisonville released their musical line up which features nine acts.
The first day of the festival will kick-off with Kentucky Dom a country and rap artist and will continue with singer-songwriter, Chris Knight who is a native of Slaughters, Kentucky. The day will conclude with a performance by country artist Tracy Lawrence who debuted in 1991.
The second day will kick-off with DJ Born and continue with Digital Underground a Grammy nominated hip-hop group. The day will conclude with a performance by Treach the front man of the hip-hop trio Naughty by Nature.
The final day of the festival will start with Don Ready a Christian hip-hop artist and will continue with Oklahoma Christian band, Consumed by Fire. The day will conclude with a performance by the gospel country band, Cain.
In a news release, Madisonville Mayor Kevin Cotton says he was thrilled to announce this year’s lineup of country, hip-hop, praise and worship acts and says there is something for everyone to enjoy.
