The Hopkinsville Public Works Department announced their plans for temporarily closing the East 7th Street railroad crossing to allow for upgrades to be made.
In a news release, the Department shares that the East 7th Street railroad crossing will be closed to traffic from March 5 to March 12 to allow for CSX to make railroad gate system upgrades.
The Department encourages motorists to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
