Warm temperatures look to stick around, rain possible towards the end of the week

Things are looking to stay pretty warm for February for the rest of the week, before a chance for rain moves in to close out the work week.

People have been enjoying some unseasonably warm temperatures lately and that trend continues this week, with Forecast Sean Poulos with the National Weather Service in Paducah saying by Friday some people may even see temperatures touch the 70’s.

A front moves in Thursday and Friday and while right now they’re not seeing much in the way of severe weather, Poulos says they are keeping an eye on it.

It will probably be pretty windy those days however.

In the 8-to-14 day outlook, things are trending a little cooler temperature wise into more seasonal levels, while the precipitation is trending drier than average.
