Members from the Hopkinsville Fire Department responded to the scene of a collision between a motor vehicle and a train that resulted in injuries on Tuesday on Skyline Drive as a vehicle was attempting to cross the CSX railroad.
According to HFD all four occupants of the vehicle suffered injuries, three juvenile occupants sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center. A male adult occupant of the vehicle suffered more severe injuries and was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Officers from the Hopkinsville Police Department are investigating the collision.
