KYTC to close Little River Bridge on Binns Mill Road next week for debris removal

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is giving a heads up to Christian County motorists, as they’ll be blocking the Little River Bridge on KY 287.

That road block is to allow for the removal of debris that has built up around the base of the bridge, according to a news release. The closure will take place starting around 7 a.m. Monday morning at the bridge located near the 5.5-mile-marker of Binns Mill Road and work is expected to be completed by the afternoon on Thursday, weather permitting.

This will be a full closure of the bridge, although the rest of KY 287 will remain open.

There will be no marked detour, but motorists will need to find an alternate route.
