The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced that portions of Virginia Street and Main Street in downtown Hopkinsville are set to undergo milling and paving work starting next week.
The operations will take place on Virginia and Main Streets from the Little River Bridge to 9th Street and motorists should expect lane restrictions and traffic delays. Milling operations will be underway from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on July 29 through July 31.
Then, paving operations will be underway from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on August 3 through August 5. Street parking will not be allowed in the area during operations.
