Former Christian County High School star Gage Montes was one of four Hoptown Hoppers to earn a spot on the 2026 All-OVL Team, which was announced late Saturday afternoon.
Montes, a right-handed pitcher, who is heading to Freed Hardeman following the summer with the Hoppers, threw 25 2/3 innings with 24 strikeouts and 10 walks this summer. He allowed only five earned runs and went 1-0 with a 1.75 ERA.
Hudson Hamilton, a right-handed pitcher, infielder Zach Hampton, and designated hitter Evan Jacob were the other Hoppers on the team.
