The Clarksville Police Department has released new information in regards to a motorcycle crash Wednesday as the investigation continues.
At the time of the crash, which happened at roughly 5 p.m. at the intersection of College Street and Drane Street, it was believed to have been between the motorcycle and a white Dodge Ram truck that left the scene before police arrived.
During the course of the investigation, however, officials have determined that the truck did not actually strike the motorcyclist, and was a non-contact vehicle. The investigation remains ongoing.
The motorcyclist remains hospitalized but is listed in stable condition, with his injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
