The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a vehicle versus motorcycle collision Wednesday where the motorists fled the scene before officers arrived.
According to a news release, the crash happened at just about 5 p.m. at the intersection of College Street and Drane Street when a white Dodge Ram truck reportedly struck a motorcyclist. The truck left the scene before officers arrived on scene.
The motorcyclist was alert and speaking with first responders before being transported to Vanderbilt Clarksville for treatment.
Investigators are working to identify the driver of the vehicle involved. Anyone with information on the Dodge Ram involved in the crash is asked to call 911 and ask to speak with an officer.
