A man who has been on the run as he was sought in connection to a shooting in Oak Grove in 2024 is officially back in the Christian County Jail.
Twenty-five-year old Robert Torian III is listed as being lodged in the Christian County Jail on the charges of first-degree assault, first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, numerous traffic violations and menacing. He had been sought in connection to a shooting that happened on November 11 in Oak Grove on Wassom Court.
That shooting sent the 20-year-old victim to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition at the time.
Torian has been sought since that time, and he was booked into the jail on Monday, where he currently has no posted bond.
Torian had just recently gotten out of jail custody at the time of the shooting in 2024, after having pleaded guilty to a second-degree manslaughter charge for his role in the 2019 fatal shooting death of Terrill Moore on McHenry Street. He had received a seven year sentence, but received credit for time served, having been in jail since 2019 while awaiting trial.
