New leadership announced for the Hopkinsville Salvation Army

While Hopkinsville Salvation Army Lieutenants, Brittney and David Donegan are set to depart for South Carolina soon, Major Jason Swain has been appointed as the next Salvation Army corps officer for the Hopkinsville location.

Swain is coming to Hopkinsville from Ashland where he leads the North Kentucky Salvation Army Corps. He will assume leadership on June 22.

The Donegans will be leaving their positions on June 21 to serve as the Corps Officers for the Anderson Corps in Anderson, South Carolina. A Community Farewell Reception will be hosted for the Donegans on June 14 in the Salvation Army Hope Center Dining Hall where lunch will be served.

In a news release, David Donegan says they are grateful for every relationship, every prayer, every volunteer and every opportunity they have had to serve this incredible community, and Brittney Donegan says Hopkinsville will always hold a special place in their hearts.

The Donegans led the Hopkinsville Salvation Army for the past two years.
