Heritage Christian Academy only had two hits, but Warriors took advantage of eight walks and a pair of Fort Campbell errors to defeat the visiting Falcons 11-8 Monday afternoon in a District 8 game.
Preston Haddock had a double and drove in two runs to lead the Warriors (4-11).
The Warriors trailed 7-1 entering the bottom of the fourth, but they scored 10 runs to take control of the game. During the key inning, HCA took advantage of four hit batters, six walks, and Haddock’s double.
Caden Gresham picked up the pitching win in relief. He tossed four innings and struck out five while walking two and only giving up one hit.
Cadyn Travis had the only other hit in the game for HCA, which returns to action today at home against Livingston Central.
Gavin Haler suffered the pitching loss for the Falcons, who droppedto 0-13.
