A news conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday to announce the head girls’ basketball coach for the new Christian County High School.
Coaches for the dance team and cheerleading team also will be announced at that time.
Christian County Public Schools officials had hoped to have these positions hired before Spring Break. Executive Principal for the New Christian County High School, Ken Carver, said on Wednesday’s Early Bird Show that the hiring committee wanted to take its time and cull through the candidates to make the right hire.
The news conference is scheduled for the Central Office Board Room.
