A collision between a pick-up truck and a school bus on North Drive resulted in injuries Tuesday afternoon.
According to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS, the wreck happened just after 2:30 p.m. as the school bus was leaving Freedom Elementary School with students on board. While the bus was exiting the parking lot, the truck collided with the front of the bus and came to a stop in the school’s parking lot.
The driver of the truck was transported to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville by AirEvac for internal injuries. None of the students on the bus nor the bus driver suffered any injuries.
