The Christian County Lady Colonels remained undefeated on the 2026 season as they slipped past host Lyon County 6-5 in a high school softball game Thursday night.
Alexis Epps went 4-for-4 to lead the Lady Colonels at the plate.
Chloe Almy’s two-run double in the top of the fifth inning provided the winning runs for Christian County, which improved to 4-0 on the season. Almy finished the night 2-for-4 with three RBI.
Jayda Turner had three singles and Alondra Rodriguez smacked a double and single for Christian County. Jordan Turner also had two hits.
Jordan Turner struck picked up the pitching win, striking out four and not allowing a free pass.
The Lady Colonels are back in action Saturday in Eddyville as they are scheduled to play Muhlenberg County, Madisonville-North Hopkins, and Jo Byrns, Tenn.
